In the spring of 2017, Daguan Gallery collaborated closely with curator Professor Pai Shih-Ming to present the two-person exhibition In\/Out of Place: Contemporary Landscape Nomadism of Wu Chi-tao and Yao Jui-chung<\/em>. To accompany the exhibition, Daguan Gallery planned the publication of a hardcover catalogue that engages in dialogue with the curator\u2019s focus on \u201cplace-based experience\u201d within cultural history. Through this exchange, texts and images generated from differing perspectives are allowed to ferment through dialogue, becoming a catalyst for reflection. As a result, the exhibition was conceived not merely as a presentation that fades into the past once it concludes, but as a commemorative project\u2014one that extends its significance toward a distant future.<\/p>\n
